Technical and vocational college degree programs prepare you for a specific trade, job or career. Generally, these colleges offer two-year programs, though some offer three- and four-year programs, as well. You may be interested in earning a certificate in Web development, becoming a licensed veterinary assistant, working in the food service and hospitality industry, or learning about the latest technology in your current job.
